After considering 'who I am', various concepts were explored through sketching. This mostly involved the exploration of the concept of two names my name being Sophie-Grace but commonly being called Gracie. This was explored through several communications such as ampersands, dividers, lines, plus signs and slashes as well as variations in type style. The difficulty with this is that the name 'Sophie-Grace' has been used for branding in previous years and this has lead to being referred to as Sophie. Although the name 'Sophie-Grace' sounds strong as a brand name, it is considered whether to dismiss this to avoid future confusion.
Other more literal ideas were explored that communicated my interests such as pizza. This however could become confusing as it does not communicate 'graphic designer'.
